You Know She's Official

We all know the quote "you know she's official when it's unofficial and she's still loyal". This got a lot of  praise on Instagram with many people posting it. Now this message can be true at times but there are positives and negatives on each side.  As men of course we know a loyal woman is hard to come by but being too loyal can definitely hurt you sometimes. If you're already essentially playing the girlfriend role and nothing is "official" why should he make things official ?? He's always getting the great treatment without any "official" title. What I've seen is a lot  of women who do this always end up holding a grudge towards the guy they were involved with when sometimes they have to blame themselves. People are only going to do what you allow so you can't get caught up.

I was in a situation where I was "unofficially" involved with someone for years off and on, she did a lot of things that a girlfriend would do but never got elevated to that level. She never understood why we never got together but perhaps it was because there was nothing to look forward to, she was already doing so much. Call me what you want but she knew the situation and I was never dishonest so she couldn't say she was misled. That being said, being loyal is very important but there has to be an understanding. You have to understand this is a choice you made so you can't hold it against the guy for not caving in to what you want. So before you play that role just stop and think real quick.
