Courting: Where Did It Go?
I remember a time where you actually had some type of chase before
becoming involved with a woman. Some of us still do experience that but
it seems like it isn't the norm. Now a days people are just jumping into
relationships head first which can be exciting at times but also
backfire. I think the lack of courtship guys can display at times is def one reason why the dating game is suffering a bit. Sometimes I think
people are in a race to see how fast they can have sex and then just
move on to the next person. Like it's ok if you don't have sex within
the first week or after 2 dates def not the end of the world. It's not
illegal to get to know her to see if you'd date her and want to see if a future is possible.
There are too many imaginary rules out there, if you want to speak to her hit her up, want to know what she likes and dislikes ASK HER. Fellas sometimes you have to do those sweet things like sending her a sweet text, sending flowers, calling her to see how her day went, and it's ok to do this. This doesn't make you a "sucker for love" or soft, it just shows that you are attentive and know what you want. If you just want to casually date around then this obviously isn't for you. I was never the courting type because I would just listen to outside influences but now I don't care if I'm interested in dating someone I'm going to court them and that's that you can view me as being weird all ya want. Court a woman you want to build with though if you just want to have "fun" then that's another story. It's up to you to decide whether she's worth actually courting or just continue casually dating.
Ladies understand that these same things you want, you have to provide also. You should not have this privileged feeling that the man should everything while you kick back. The same way a guy shows interesting you should do the same. Let him know that you're thinking of him, send him a cute text to make his day go by smoothly, ask him on a date every once in a blue. Showing interest and courting should def be a two-way street.
